Frequently asked questions
All-terrain or mud-terrain — which do I need?
If most of your driving is on sealed roads with the odd gravel or beach run, an all-terrain is quieter, wears longer and grips better in the wet. Mud-terrains earn their keep in deep mud, clay and serious off-road use. Tell us how you drive and we'll steer you right.
Do I need 10-ply tyres?
If you tow a boat or caravan, carry heavy loads, or run a lifted 4WD with a lot of weight on it, light-truck 10-ply construction resists punctures and holds its shape better. For a lightly loaded daily driver, a standard load tyre is usually more comfortable.
Can I go up a size?
Often, yes — but a bigger tyre can rub, change your speedo reading and affect your warrant. We'll check clearance and legality on your vehicle before recommending anything.
